Passed away into peace on the 30th of March, 2013 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital Mrs Pear Myrtle Curlew (Burden) of St. Lunaire- Griquet in her 65th year. Pearl leaves behind with loving memories her Sons Tim (Effie), Monty (Marie), Roderick (Mary-Ann), Morris (Peggy-Ann), Scott (Wavey) & Boyd (Sherry). Daughters Sheila (Watson) & Michelle (Tim), Grandchildren April (Jason), Candace, Dina, Sacha, Sherman (Ada), Dwayne (Vanessa), Deirdre, Donalda (Gary), Jeremy, Jonathan, Jenny (Mark), Damian, Kyle, Tiffany,   Felicia, Carrie (Jamie), Robert, Skylar, Brittany, Jordan & Kelsey. Great -Grandchildren Noah, Nate, Leah, Kimberly, Brooklyn, Aiden, Cailin, Jonas & Piper. Sisters Jesse (William Adams), Carrie (Harold Yetman), Marge (Leslie Hall), & Ruby (Baxter Hedderson). Brothers Fred (Ethel), Herman (Rebecca), Shawn (Kim), Bradley (Kathy) & Sister in Law Sarah  Pearl was Predeceased by her husband Wilfred, parents Herman & Maude  and her brother William. She will be sadly missed by a large circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation was held at the Pentecostal Calvary Tabernacle in St. Lunaire-Griquet, from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 2nd of April with Pastors Wayne Baker and Jon Collins officiating, burial followed in the church Cemetery. Passed away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St Anthony on March 29, 2013, Mrs. Agnes Genge in her 91st year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Clyde (Myrtle); daughter-in-law Gertie and son-in-law Wilfred Sr.; her grandchildren Effie, Trudy, Connie, Wilfred Jr. and Lindsey also her great grandchildren Jelisa, Kendall, Laci, Landon, Averie, Avril and Amber. She was predeceased by her husband Jacob Sr., son Jacob Jr., daughter Olive and her mother and father Effie and Henry Genge. Visitation took place at St. Matthew’s Church in Anchor Point. The funeral service took place at 2p.m. on Monday, April 1 with Rev. Robert Rowlands officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Passed away Suddenly at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 25th of may  in his 54th year, Mr. Calvin S. Richards of St. Anthony. Calvin leaves with heavy hearts his wife Susan (Tucker), his daughters Pamela, Jennifer and Jasmine, Sons Paul, Justin and Jamie, his Mother Doris (Pilgrim), sisters Cora, Betty and Thelma, Brothers Harvey and Morgan, 3 Grandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his father Albert and his grandparents William and Rhonda Richards and Fredrick and Alma Pilgrim. He may no longer be here in body but his spirit lives on through the lives he has touched on his journey through life. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service at the Saint Anthony United church in St. Anthony at 2:00pm on the 29th of march with rev. Passed away on the 19th of March, 2013 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, Mr. George Henry Genge of Anchor Point in his 92nd year. George leaves to mourn his Wife Renie Genge, Sons Lloyd (Larua), Kevin (Vera), David (Susan), Daughters ​Rachel (Jerome), Jocelyn (Edward), Faye (Gary), and Brothers Pearce and Garfield, Sisters Margaret and Joanna as well as twelve Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren. ​Passed away peacefully at the john M. Gray Center in St. Anthony on the 18th of March 2013, Mrs. Myrtle Dulcie Simms of St. Anthony Bight, in her 97th year. Myrtle leaves behind, with a lifetime of loving memories. her Five Daughters Jessie, Elsie, Bessie (Edgar), Juanita (Gordan), Nellie (Keith), Three Sons Hayward, Ross (Rita), Brian, 19 Grand Children, 41 Great Grandchildren, 13 Great Great Grandchildren, one Sister in Law Olive Simms, and a large number of relatives and friends. She will for ever be remembered and sadly missed by all who know her. Myrtle lived to see the passing of her Beloved Husband Alec, her parents Naomi and Peter Lane, her brothers Namon, Gideon, Chesley and sister Lavinia, two Son in Laws John Carter and Elijah Parrill. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony. The funeral service followed in the St. Anthony United Church in St. Anthony, with Rev. Stephanie McClellan officiating, the burial took place at The Community Cemetery in St. Anthony Bight. PARRILL, ELVIS

Passed away suddenly on the 16th of March, 2013 at his home in Pines Cove, Mr. Elvis Parrill at the young age of 52. Left behind with heavy hearts to mourn Elvis's passing are his daughter Pamela, Son In Law Corey, Marlene, his parents John and Eliza Parrill, his sisters shirley (Barry), Ruby (Floyd), his Brothers Jarvis and Ward, many Nieces and Nephews, as well as special persons Charmaine Genge, Wilga Parrill, Stan Mitchelmore, Gord and Cindy Hopkins, William Hen Stephens, Abe Whalen, and Val Rumbolt. Despite his ​young age, Elvis lived to experaience the tradgic passing of his sister Rhonda Parrill, and the loss of his grandparents Andrew and Elizabeth Parrill and Auston and Evangeline Mitchelmore.  Visitation was held at St. Andrews Anglican Church in Lower Cove, from which the funeral service took place at 11:00am on the 20th of March, 2013, with Rev.
