Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 8th day of June 2013. Mrs. Annie Alice Quinlan of St. Anthony was in her 59th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Woodrow, daughter Wendy(Jeffrey), son Micheal(Tiffany), brothers Loudenn Hedley, Ron & Ralph, sisters Vickie & Clara, sisters-in-law Drucy, Marina,Pam, Edith, Sally, Karen, Jackie, Winnie, Carol & Virtue, Brothers-in-law Frank, Edward, Greg, Hubert, & Baxter as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother & father Emma & Silas Patey, mother-in-law Anne, Father-in-law hayward, her brothers Clem, Winston, and Albert, her sisters Edna, Isabelle, & Virginia, brothers-in-law Elmore, Sandy, Frank, sisters-in-law Eileen, Iris, & Marie. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service which took plce at 2:00pm on the 14th day of June 2013 with Rev. Stephanie McClellan officiating. Cremtion followed after the service. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard funeral director

Passed peacefully away at the Charles s. Curtis memorial hospital on the 5th day of June 2013. Mrs. Una Roberts of Quirpon was in her 92nd year.  She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories daughter Margaret(Charles), daughter-in-law Goldie,grandchildren Preston(Tammy), Joy(Rick), Judy(Tim), and Tim(Bev), great-grandchildren Rikki, Alex & Jett, sister Blanche(Ron), Brothers Jacob, Arch(Maisie), and Lloyd, as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Walter, Son Ford, parents Moses & Clara Patey, Sisters Louise & Greta, Brothers Gideon & Clarence. Visitation was held a the funeral home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service which took place at 2:00pm on Monday June 10, 2013 from the Salvation Army Citadel with Majors Dinzel & Kathleen Baggs officiating. Interment followed in the Community Cemetery in Quirpon.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Passed away suddenly at the Health Science Center on the 5th day of June 2013. Mrs. Sybel Gibbons of Forrester’s Point was in her 74th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories  her Daughters Kathy(boris), Susan(Derek), Donna(Wilfred), Daisy(Sam), Sons Kirby(Edith), Ivan(Joan), Roland(Peggy), Grandchildren Kaitlyn, Courtney(Clay), Casey(Allie), Cody, Christopher(Sheena), Corey(Glenda, Great- Grandchildren Alyssa, Natalie, Marty, as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roland Sr., Granddaughter Renita, and Grandson Kirby. Visitation was held at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove followed by the funeral service which was held at 1:00pm on the 9th day of June 2013 with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of fond and loving memories her daughters Juanita(Gerald), Dorcas, Son Boyce(Marie), grandchildren Violet, Wanda(Ken), Dapne(Clayton), Priscella(Gary), Lorne(Maria), Larry, Marilyn, Todd(Belinda), Murray(Dale), 11 great grandchildren, 9 great great-grandchildren, Brothers Fred and Charl(Bessie) as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick, parents Priscella and Noah, brothers Henry and William, siter Violet, sons-in-law Melvin and Alfred, sisters-in-law Minnie, Dora, and Evelyn, and brother-in-law Gideon.  Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service which was held at 2:00pm on the 9th day of June from the Salvation Army Citadel in St. Anthony with Majors Dinzel and Kathleen Baggs officiating.  Interment followed in the church cemetery. NICHOLAS, L. JEAN

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean
Nicholas, born June 15, 1955 in St. Anthony, announce her
sudden passing on May 31, 2013 in a tragic vehicle accident.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her
spouse Chris; her son Nicholas (Renée); sister Colleen
(Manuel); brother David (Claudine); father Albert, and her
nephew Christopher (Amy). Also in mourning is a large circle
of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her
mother Lillian. She touched the lives of many and she will
be dearly missed. Visitation took place Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral
Home in St. Anthony. The funeral service took place at
St. Mary’s Anglican Church at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4
with Fr. Rev. Paul Findaly officiating followed by burial in
the St. Anthony Anglican Cemetery. Funeral services were
entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony
and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
